We are studying the development of a new robot-assisted lobectomy and developing a screening method for lung cancer by analyzing urine. In addition, as a research theme for graduate students, we are studying "immunostaining evaluation of UBL3 expression as a prognostic factor for lung cancer".
We are conducting research with near-infrared light as a new imaging technique for breast cancer without pain and radiation exposure. We developed Reflective Diffuse Optical Tomography (RDOT) in which a plurality of light sources and detectors are arranged in a grid in the same plane to calculate the optical coefficient of a lesion local in three dimensions.
We actively participate in clinical trials.
We are studying the mechanism of recurrence in laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery, and also developing a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair procedure without meshes for young adults. On the other hand, We are identifying cancer-specific peptides using in vivo phage display system.
