The prognostic outcome and quality of life in patients with hematological malignancy have been improved over the last 20 years by introduction of molecular target therapies. Our department have been are working on clinical and basic researches to further improve the treatment outcomes of hematological malignancies. We have been achieved the results of research in the field of acute promyelocytic leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia. We are working to treat many patients with hematological malignancies (acute leukemia, malignant lymphoma and multiple myeloma), and undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for refractory disease. Our department currently has 2 graduate students in the doctoral course.
