The hospital prepares meals appropriate to patients' symptoms (vegetarian meals, rice porridge, special medical care, etc.) (Powdered milk formula is provided for infants.) Patients whose attending physician has recommended a limited diet (limited salt, water, energy, protein, fat, etc.) should not bring food or drink to the hospital. Additionally, patients may not cook for themselves.
You may have your meals in the day room (except in the East Ward on the 8th floor) or in your room. As a general rule, meals are served in the patient's room for those staying in special rooms (private rooms, sterile rooms, etc.), but this arrangement can be changed depending on the patient's condition and preference. If you would like to request a change, please inform the ward staff.
The meal times are as follows. Please note that the start times (meal serving times) may vary slightly depending on the ward.
| Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner |
| 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. | 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. |
[Breakfast]
Breakfast is primarily bread-based meal (for patients on the regular diet only), but rice can be provided upon request. If you prefer rice, please inform the ward staff. You may also change your choice diet from bread to rice or from rice to bread during your hospitalization.
[Dinner]
We offer a selection dinner menu four days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) for patients on the regular diet and other eligible diets. Menu request forms are distributed at lunchtime on Mondays. Please submit your request using the designated method.
*Please note that patients who are prescribed a porridge diet or special therapeutic diets by their attending physician may not be able to select from these options.
An accompanying person is not required. However, if you wish to have one, please consult the head nurse.
