Professor AKITA Tenpei

The Pathophysiology & Pathology group provides students with basic knowledge of diseases in general, mainly through lectures on pathophysiology and pathology. Our research focuses on how various types of ion channels expressed in cells work together to achieve various cellular functions, and on the mechanisms and treatments of diseases caused by disturbances in the functional interactions of ion channels.
