Professor TAKEUCHI Hiromi

This department was established in April 2018 by the donation from Shizuoka prefecture.
The proportion of number of doctors to the population is relatively low in Shizuoka prefecture and their uneven distribution has been viewed as a challenge for a long time. In such situations, each region is now required to establish the scheme to provide medical care based on the future ideal medical care system developed by the prefectural government in March 2016. In the meantime, new medical specialist training system started in FY 2018, which requires considerations to regional medical care in introducing the system.
This department aims to conduct research and study for solving these problems and realizing the future ideal medical care system, to establish the system to deliver efficient and quality medical services to meet the medical demand, and to improve the training system for doctors in regions in shortage of doctors.
