We aim to elucidate universal molecular mechanisms--such as the regulation of gene expression--to advance our understanding of higher-order biological processes, including reproduction, cancer, and aging. Our current research focuses on the following themes:

1. Epigenetic regulation in germ cells
2. Elucidation of tumor immune dynamics induced by DNA damage
3. Gene expression control mediated by X-chromosome inactivation and antisense transcription
4. Mechanisms of cancer malignancy driven by long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs)
