  • Understanding how to plan for research project.
  • Understanding principals of experiment and research.
  • Interpreting and evaluating results of experiment appropriately.
  • Presenting the achievements appropriately, and writing scientific papers for submission.

Upon research of our laboratory

Our laboratory have mainly focused on research related to forensic toxicology.

We have been studying on;

  1. Development of determination and quantification method for toxic compounds from various specimen.
  2. Natural Toxins (poisonous mushroom).
  3. Postmortem distribution of various compounds in human bodies.
  4. Research on metabolites of NPSs and its metabolic pathway in human.
  5. Development and application of newly sensitive analytical method for toxic compounds.

and so on, ever.

In our laboratory, we have especially focused on research in forensic toxicological area regarding autopsies and authentic samples. Comprehensive research with various medical/analytical aspects in forensic toxicology, ranging from case report to application of newly analytical method, can also be achieved in our laboratory, which are of use in investigations.

In addition, field-working would be also held for research on natural toxins (ex. collecting wild mushroom).

Comprehensive understanding of forensic toxicology through research and publishing scientific articles can be achieved in our course. In addition to above themes, various research related to forensic medicine can also be dealt with in our laboratory, according to each student's interest and wish.
