How does the brain work? How does the brain become sick? We use multidisciplinary technologies (i.e. immunohistochemistry, in utero electroporation, whole-cell patch-clamp and optical imaging) to tackle these issues. We are investigating molecular and physiological basis of brain development, expression patterns of proteins in the brain, and orchestration among neurons, glia and blood vessels. Hopefully, our findings will lead to diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders.
