The main obligations of our department are clinical practice, medical student education and research.
In the clinical practice, our department members play an active role not only in clinical anesthesia, but also in the fields of intensive care and pain therapy.
Our major research themes are:

1. The role of nitric oxide(NO) on hemorrhagic shock
2. The protective role of ａｎｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃ agents on ischemia/reperfusion in isolated heart model
3. Research of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of anesthetic agents during hemorrhagic shock
