The Laboratory's mission is to advance the integration of photonics with medicine and the life sciences through innovative research and technological development. To achieve this, the Laboratory brings together researchers from diverse fields--including molecular biology, molecular imaging, neuroscience, nuclear medicine, and biomedical optics--to conduct interdisciplinary research spanning from molecular imaging to the measurement and analysis of biological functions.
