The International Mass Imaging Center was established in April 2016. It was selected by Bruker Daltonics K.K. (now the Daltonics Division of Bruker Japan K.K.) as a global demonstration hub in Asia, alongside those in the United States and Germany, and has since been working on the standardization of mass imaging techniques. Utilizing two state-of-the-art instruments newly provided by the company, the center promotes mass imaging analysis of pathological tissues. Furthermore, with the support of four companies--Shimadzu Corporation, Waters Corporation Japan, PREPPERS Co., Ltd., and Bruker Japan K.K.--the center actively engages in collaborative research both within and outside the university.
