Head Prof. SETOU Mitsutoshi

　In April 2016, we launched the international Mass Imaging Center. This center was selected as a global demonstration base for Imaging Mass Spectrometry (IMS) technology in Asia. Our main mission is to standardize IMS techniques by international collaboration with IMS bases in the United States and Germany. We adopted the Operations for Promoting Science and Technology System Reform in April 2016, and are promoting the operation based on the achievement of the studies collaborated with Bruker K.K, Nihon Waters K.K. and Shimazu Corporation. We are also engaged in collaborative research projects with HAMAMATSU Photonics K.K.
