We received surgical masks and other supplies from Guilin Medical University for the purpose of COVID-19 infection prevention on Monday May 11th.

Prof. Zhang Zhiyong, President of Guilin Medical University, had originally planned to visit our university from April 22nd to April 23rd for a conclusion of international exchange agreement with our university. However, due to the global spread of COVID-19, the visit was obliged to be rearranged. At the beginning of April, President Zhang Zhiyong had kindly offered to send us surgical masks and other supplies, and our university had gratefully accepted the offer considering current situation. We received 1,000 surgical masks and 600 disposable gloves in total.

Impressed by our cross-border bond, we would deeply appreciate their valuable support in the situation of mask shortages. All supplies will be provided widely to support students and staff in the field of medical education.
