Academic Year 2026 Study Abroad Report Meeting

On Monday, July 6, the HUSM International Center organized the 'AY 2026 Study Abroad Report Meeting.'
This report meeting was held to share the valuable overseas experiences of students who studied abroad. It gave students who are considering going abroad a clear idea of how to prepare and what they can actually experience in laboratory or clinical training, serving as a reference for the future. The meeting was attended by 56 participants, including undergraduate students, faculty and staff, as well as Chair Dr. Unno and Director Mr. Sugishita (Chair of the HUSM Supporters' Association) from the HUSM International Exchange Supporters' Association.
This year, 22 representative HUSM students who studied abroad from November 2025 to the end of June 2026 presented their reports. The content covered a wide range, including basic medical research program in laboratory, elective clinical clerkship program, and International Service Learning. Each student shared what they learned and experienced at their programs, including the challenges they faced, with specific episodes. After the report, there was an active question-and-answer session, which became a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of studying abroad for HUSM students.
