The International Exchange Gathering 2025 was held

Mar 17, 2026

On Monday, March 9, Hamamatsu University School of Medicine (HUSM) held the "International Exchange Gathering 2025." The event was organized to express our gratitude to the people who support our international exchange programs and members of the local community, and to provide an opportunity for them to interact with international students studying at HUSM.
Approximately 80 participants attended the event, enjoying lively conversations in a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the gathering. To help participants feel closer to the home countries of the international students, five students gave short presentations introducing the places worth visiting in their countries. The presentations showcased the diverse attractions of their countries, including historic landmarks and rich natural scenery, offering a valuable opportunity for the audience to learn more about each culture.
In addition, eight HUSM medical students who are currently visiting Kenya as part of their "International Service Learning" program, gave an immersive live online report on their activities. Representatives of the international exchange student circle "HOPE," who served as English emcees for the event, also introduced the circle's activities. Through various presentations and activities, participants gained insight into the university's wide-ranging international exchange programs.
The gathering concluded successfully and provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to experience diverse cultures and deepen mutual understanding.
