Dec 01, 2025
On Wednesday, November 5, the "2025 Academic Year International Nursing Practice Report Session" was held.
This report session was held to share the achievements and learning gained by students who studied abroad at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing (USA), one of our university's academic exchange partner institutions, with the aim of providing valuable insights for students considering future study abroad opportunities.
This time, two fourth-year students from the Faculty of Nursing participated in the Visiting Nursing Student Immersion Experience program held from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26. They presented their own experiences and challenges gained through nursing practice in U.S. healthcare settings, the realities of team-based care, differences in systems and approaches compared to Japan, and interactions with local students and immersion in the culture.
Following the presentation, a lively Q&A session took place. Faculty and students engaged in a multifaceted exchange of ideas, discussing what approaches might be needed to further enhance the appeal of this program, now in its second iteration, and to increase participation motivation.
Finally, the student who presented shared their vision as a future healthcare professional, concluding the report session.
