Visit of Exchange Students from Kyungpook National University College of Nursing
Aug 21, 2025
From August 4 (Mon.) to August 8 (Fri.), 2025, four nursing students from Kyungpook National University College of Nursing, one of our partner institutions in the Republic of Korea, visited our campus for five days.
This program aims to cultivate an international perspective and improve communication skills in English as a common language by having nursing students from both universities exchange visits every other year to observe and experience medical and nursing practices overseas.
During their stay in Japan, they had a fulfilling experience visiting the university hospital and participating in nursing internships. With Professor Kido from the Department of Clinical Nursing taking the lead, they were supported in their daily life by many faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing and the Nursing Department at the university hospital, as well as by students from our university who had studied at Kyungpook National University College of Nursing last year.
On the final day, a farewell ceremony was held, during which the exchange students gave presentations introducing Kyungpook National University's nursing curriculum and new hospital. The ceremony also included the awarding of certificates of completion and the exchange of commemorative gifts. All participants reflected on their five-day stay, reaffirming the bonds they had formed over two years of exchange and expressing their sadness at parting.
Our university will continue to actively promote international exchange, particularly in the field of nursing.
