Year 2025 Study-Abroad Report Meeting

On Thursday June 26th, the HUSM International Center organized and held the year 2025 study-abroad report meeting.
The purpose of this meeting was to share the valuable experiences from the students who studied abroad, and to provide students who are considering going abroad with information on specific preparations and activities for their future reference. The meeting was attended by 64 participants, including undergraduate students, faculty and staff, as well as Chairman Dr. Unno and Director Mr. Suzuki (Enshu-Shinkin Bank, Chairman) from the HUSM International Exchange Supporters' Association.
This year, 19 representative HUSM students who studied abroad from November 2024 to the end of May 2025 presented their reports. The content was diverse, including basic medical research program in laboratory, elective clinical clerkship program, English language courses at the University of Hawaii, and International Service Learning. Each student gave a presentation with specific episodes of what they learned and experienced in their programs and the challenges they faced. The presentations were followed by a lively question-and-answer session, providing a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of study abroad for HUSM students.
