In the ceremony, following conferring diplomas and giving commendations for academic excellence awards to 2 Medical students and 1 Nursing student, President Konno delivered his commencement address to the students: "I hope that as medical professionals, you will believe that every person in the world, regardless of race, nationality or gender, has the right to build their own future with their own hands, that they deserve to have that ability, and that they have the right to live happily. To that end, I encourage you not only to acquire medical and nursing knowledge and skills, but also strive to cultivate a broad cultural perspective and deep humanity, develop the ability to recognize and embrace diversity, and lead a colorful life as a professional in pursuit of your own goals."
The ceremony concluded with acknowledgments and the presentation of commemorative gifts by representatives of graduating students and diploma recipients.
