Memorandum of Understanding was concluded with SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology

On October 22 (Wed.), a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between HUSM and SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India.
HUSM and the university, which is operated by the SRM Group based in Chennai, India, were introduced by the JETRO Hamamatsu Trade Information Center and have exchanged views on the establishment of a new partnership. The agreement aims to promote and build mutual cooperation in the areas of researcher and student exchange, joint research, and the sharing of academic information.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology is one of the largest private universities in India with 52,000 students and 3,200 faculty members, and has produced many outstanding science and engineering professionals who are active in India and abroad. The university has also been involved in providing Japanese language education to Indian students.
This new partnership with a university in India, a country that continues to experience high growth within the global economy, is expected to lead to further international development in education, research, industrial collaboration, and numerous other fields.
