Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement were concluded with Technische Universität Braunschweig

Oct 11, 2024

On October 3 (Thu.), Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement were concluded between HUSM and Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany.
This agreement was made possible through the efforts of Prof. Kazuhiko Namikawa from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology at Technische Universität Braunschweig, along with the support of Prof. Yamagishi from the Optical Neuroanatomy Laboratory, who accepted two international students as special research students from Technische Universität Braunschweig.
Technische Universität Braunschweig is one of the most research-intensive universities in Lower Saxony, with a strong focus on engineering and addressing global challenges within the framework of four interdisciplinary core research areas as Mobility, Metrology, Cities of the Future, and Global Health.
In addition, one student will be dispatched to Technische Universität Braunschweig through the credit system for overseas study in the "Basic Research Placement Program," a required course for third-year medical students that will be implemented from the 2024 academic year.
Further promotion of student exchange is expected through enhanced exchange programs and academic collaboration between the two universities.
