Roundtable Discussion Meeting with the Taiwanese Mission Delegation

On Wednesday, July 3rd, nineteen delegate members of eight Taiwanese associations and industries including the Taiwan-Japan Industry Center ("TJIC") visited our university for their roundtable discussion meeting. They met HUSM President KONNO Hiroyuki and other faculty members.

TJIC and HUSM built their relationship during the occasion of signing a memorandum for academic exchange agreement between Taipei Medical University last October which was led to its conclusion in February. The seminar, which followed in the afternoon, was held by TJIC together by HUSM.

In addition, the implementation of the event was also supported by the Special Advisor to HUSM President YAMAMOTO, who is also the representative of "Hamamatsu Univ Sch of Med Collaboration Development Corporation Hamamatsu Innovation Liaison KANADE"

In the meeting, the information on latest medical equipment and services was exchanged, and the delegate members toured through the HUSM hospital's surgical operation center. In this occasion, HUSM have developed a firm relationship with Taiwanese medical equipment makers and specialists.
