Welcome to HUSM! Academic Year 2024 Entrance Ceremony

On the 5th of April, the Hamamatsu University School of Medicine Entrance Ceremony was held in the main hall at Act City with no more restrictions on the number of parents or guardians attending.
This year, HUSM welcomed 238 new students: 110 undergraduate students and 5 second-year transfer students in the Faculty of Medicine, 63 undergraduate students and 3 third-year transfer students in the Faculty of Nursing, 32 doctoral students in the Graduate School of Medicine, 3 Inter-university Curriculum doctoral students, 3 doctoral students in the Graduate School of Nursing and 19 master's students.
After the awarding of the admission letters and the oath by a new student representative, President Konno encouraged students, saying, "Please be sincere and humble in your studies. All of the faculty and staff at our university will do our utmost to support you. I truly hope for your growth and a step forward to success while at this university."
