AY 2020 Diploma Awarding Ceremony was held

On 16th March, the Hamamatsu University School of Medicine Diploma Awarding Ceremony was held to celebrate the graduation of 243 undergraduate and graduate students in total. For the purpose of preventing COVID-19, only the undergraduate and graduate students and administrative officers gathered at the Act City Hall, where the ceremony was held.

In the ceremony, President Konno conferred the diplomas to representatives of the undergraduate and graduate programs, followed by the HUSM student orchestra's performance of "Waltz" from "The Sleeping Beauty". Commendations were also awarded to the best students.

President Konno delivered his commencement address to the students. "I hope in the future, that you will become an autonomous medical professional who can staying close to the patient even in the most difficult situations."
