Anniversary celebration of the establishment of HUSM

On 7th June, an anniversary event was held to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of HUSM. About 180 participants joined the celebration. The event started with a speech by President Konno, followed by a special lecture by Dr. Satoshi Aoyama, CEO of Brookman Technology Inc., which is a university-launched venture company by Shizuoka University. Dr Aoyama's lecture, "Challenges from universities, semiconductors, and regional revitalization ventures," was both lively and engaging. Finally, President Konno presented letters of gratitude to hospital volunteers for their faithful long-service, and awarded the title of Professor Emeritus to recent distinguished retirees.
