Candidate

対象

Applicants must be outstanding individuals who will newly arrive from overseas to enroll in our Graduate School of Medicine Doctoral Degree Program (October admission) and intend to pursue a degree at the university.

本学の医学専攻博士課程（10月入学）に入学するために、新たに海外から来日する優秀な者かつ、本学で学位取得を目指す者

Applicants must have the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.

Applicants must be born on or after the date specified by MEXT (generally 34 years old or younger).

Academic Background

学歴

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for admission to the Graduate School of Medicine Doctoral Degree Program (October admission) at our university.

本学の医学専攻博士課程（10月入学）への入学資格を有する者

Academic Achievement

学業成績

Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance at their most recent institution, such as maintaining a GPA of 2.30 or higher on a 3.0 scale.

現在社会人の者は最終学歴の学業成績係数、在学生は現在在籍する課程の学業成績係数が３点満点で2.30 以上の者

Language Proficiency

語学能力

Applicants must meet one of the following language requirements:

日本語、又は英語の以下のいずれかの能力、又は相当以上の能力を有する者：

a）Japanese: greater than or equal to N2 in Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

日本語の場合は、日本語能力試験（JLPT）のレベルN2 以上

b）English: All four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) must be greater than or equal to B2 in CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

英語の場合は、４技能全てのスコアが英語におけるヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠（CEFR）のB2 以上

Arrival in Japan

渡日時期

Applicants must be able to arrive in Japan within two weeks before or after the enrollment date (October 1st).

入学日（10月１日）から数えて前後２週間以内に渡日可能な者

Interview

面 談

Applicants must have completed multiple (online) interviews with their prospective supervisor.

受入予定の指導教員等と面談を複数回実施した者（オンライン可）

Scholarship Amount

Airline tickets

航空券

Economy-class Airline ticket to Japan/to return to the home country will be granted under the conditions stipulated by MEXT.

文部科学省が定める条件に基づき渡日旅費及び帰国旅費が支給される（下級航空券の交付のみ）

　granted on the condition that the student receives educational
　and research guidance at the university to which they applied.

※大学推薦による採用者は、当該大学で教育・研究指導を受ける
　ことが条件となっているため。

Duplicate Applications

重複申請、併願

Applicants are not permitted to apply for this scholarship at more than one university, or to apply for this scholarship together with other scholarships or fellowships funded by the Japanese government or its affiliated institutions.

本奨学金における他大学との重複申請、日本政府及び日本政府関係機関拠出の奨学金・フェローシップ等との併願は不可。

Not eligible (main cases)

申請対象外（主な例）

・Those who are previous grantees of Japanese Government (MEXT) scholarship programs (there are some exceptions.).

過去に日本政府（文部科学省）奨学金留学生であった者（一部例外あり）

・Those who reside in Japan at the time the application documents are submitted to MEXT.

本学から文科省への推薦時に日本に滞在している者

・Those who are expected to graduate at the time of application and cannot satisfy the condition for academic background by the deadline.

卒業見込みの者で、所定の期日までに学歴の資格及び条件が満たされない者

・Those who, from the time of application, plan to engage in long-term research activities outside Japan (e.g., fieldwork or internships) or intend to take a long-term leave of absence from the university.

申請時から日本以外での研究活動（フィールドワーク、インターンシップ等）や休学等を長期間予定している者

Application withdrawal

出願取り消し

We recommend our most qualified candidates to MEXT after a rigorous and careful screening process. Once you have been selected as a university-recommended nominee, your application cannot be withdrawn.

本学では厳格かつ慎重な選考を経て、最も優秀な候補者を文部科学省に推薦します。大学推薦候補者に選ばれた後は、出願を取り消すことはできません。

Entrance examination

入学試験

Applicants for the MEXT scholarship must also apply and pass our university entrance examination at their own expense. The examination fee will be refunded after October if the applicant is selected as a MEXT scholarship recipient.

本奨学金の応募者は、自己負担で本学の入学試験を受験し、合格する必要があります。なお、本奨学金受給者に選ばれた場合、受験料は10月以降に返金されます。
